Biennale Son's unique visual identity embodies the physicality of sound. Its graphic lines can be kinetic or sonic, changing shape according to size and application, and playing with the reader's mind by blurring their legibility.
The elements making up the Biennale Son logotype are indissociable and their proportions are fixed. Two versions of the logotype - vertical and horizontal - are made available to partners according to their specific needs. The choice between the two variants must respect the recommendations defined in this guide.
The Son Biennial logotype is mainly used in black on a white background on all the event's institutional and promotional materials. However, the colors of the logotype and background may vary according to the context of use and technical production constraints. In this case, sufficient contrast (positive or negative) must be maintained between the logotype and background.
To guarantee optimum legibility, the logotype should never be used below a size of 30px/3.5mm high in its horizontal version, or 64px/8mm high in its vertical version.
Respect a minimum protection zone around the logo to ensure its legibility. This zone must remain free of any graphic elements or text.
The identity symbol can be used on its own in specific cases, notably as an icon for the web and social networks, subject to validation by the Son Biennial communications team. It is always presented in black on a white background.
It is forbidden to modify or alter the design of the logotype.
