If it's a dream then make it true (Stück fur zwei Streicher und drei Stimmen)

A project by Nina Emge for Biennale Son au Lemme

In this installation, a music stand and bow interact with small ceramic objects bearing quotations from thinkers, musicians and poets such as Bell hooks and DeForrest Brown Jr. Scattered throughout the space, the texts seem to orchestrate a silent concert situation. Between these fragments, a polyphony of voices and thoughts is composed, where the spectator's imagination replaces the sounds absent from the classical musical tradition.
